Services

  • Mentors to support mothers: offer support for moms’ well being, child-raising, life skills, guidance and friendship; Provided during the time of pregnancy through preschool by screened and trained mentors
  • Playgroups: Moms of newborn through preschoolaged children receive peer support and friendship, while children are learning to play in groups with supervision
  • Great Moms Club: Gatherings for mothers of any age for fun, food, fellowship, and inspiration, Helping moms build relationships to break down isolation many feel.
  • Nurse Home Visits: For moms who are not receiving nursing visits through any other resource, focusing on pregnancy through the 1st year; Visits focus on overall wellness for mom and baby
  • School Visits and local High School: Students that wish to connect with a mentor during school hours may meet together. This is approved by FWCS and provides friendship, support and enrichment for teens dealing with pregnancy and parenting

    Eligibility

    • No U.S. government-issued ID needed
    • Expectant mother and/or mother of infant through preschool-aged children up to 6

    Hours

    • Mother mentoring – mutually agreed upon times weekly or biweekly

    • Playgroup – 1st & 3rd W 1:30PM-3PM

    • Great Moms Club – 2nd & 4th W 6PM-7:30PM
